It all started, precisely, with a passion for guitars. And for lack of a shop which spoke the same language as the guitarists. First online, with a small business selling used instruments and material. The success was almost immediate, and after a year Mr. Jack was no longer just an Internet address and a bunch of guitars and amps in the visitors room. That bunch had been transfered into the basement, which had been rented for that purpose. In addition to shopping and sales, the queries, and requests for opinions filled the e-mail box every day. It was time to take the next and more obvious step: to open a physical store.

Over the years, Mr. Jack has become a mandatory stop for aspiring guitar heroes and veterans of the Portuguese music scene. And, more importantly, someone with a deep knowledge of the products he sells, willing to listen and advise, to find the right choice, both for those who go to buy the first guitar with the saved allowances, and for the professional looking for a top instrument.
